Friday Favorites: Ready for Fall Break!!

It's FRIDAY!! YAY!!!!!! It's been a looooong few weeks. We've been really busy, really exhausted (mostly me), and a tad stressed. So this morning we are sooo ready for Fall Break!! Everyone is excited but I think mama is the MOST! Ha! Even though we've had our challenges and are possibly still in the adjustment phase of mama working full time, the start to our school year has been really GREAT. And I give God the glory because it's all Him, His grace, His goodness, and His faithfulness.

Here's a quick look at our faves as we get ready to kick off our Fall Break this afternoon....

*Last Friday morning Austin went back to school for the first time in a week and he got to participate in the Kindergarten ABC Fashion Show! This was the cutest, most fun thing!! They were all given vests with a letter on it that they had to decorate with pictures or stickers of things that begin with that letter. Austin had the letter U and wore his vest proud. The K teachers went all out with a red carpet, lights all over the hall, and lots of fun music. PreK was invited to come watch and my students were very wowed. Haha! They loved it!

I think the teachers had just as much fun as the kids. We all loved it. ☺

*On Saturday we met up with the Selph side of the fam to celebrate mine and Denny's birthdays. (I'm 34 today!) We had tons of fun and ate great food. Then we celebrated with our first ever selfie. ☺

These cousins had a ball catching up....

And they tried to teach Layton how to dab, hahaha!

*Monday night while his brothers were at soccer practice I took a break from cooking to play Yeti in My Spaghetti with my favorite 6 year old.

Tuesday night we were all home together with no where to go. #yesssss So the boys played football outside while I started on supper and we had such a laid back evening. #allthepraisehands

Layton also cut the grass before joining his brothers on the trampoline. He asked daddy if the grass looked good when he got home. Haha.

*Ready to watch Atlanta United play! Daddy was present but not pictured. ☺

*This week we pulled out our Halloween plates for the first time this year! The boys have already figured out a system for deciding who gets to pick their plate 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in a way that will be fair for everybody. Festive Halloween plates are clearly a big deal.

We have a fun weekend and week of Fall Break planned but are mostly looking forward to a break from the regular routine. And some downtime and extra rest! We definitely need it!! I'm hoping to blog a little more if I can and try to get back into the swing of really documenting what we're up to. We'll see I guess. It's going to be easier said than done I'm afraid.

Have a happy Friday and great weekend!!
