Yay for Friday! And yay for anniversary trips! Terrell and I are off this morning for our annual get-away while our babies enjoy the weekend with their grandparents. We are all super excited. 😊
Here's a peek at my faves from the week...
*Summer morning laziness is the BEST. Especially when everyone is doing their own thing and peace and quiet ensue for just a while.
*Summer reading has taken off at our house. The boys asked Granna to take them to the library today and they asked me if we could go again on Monday. Haha! We support the library and keep our favorite librarians busy!
*The boys got a surprise in the mail this week! My parents sent them cards congratulating them on great school years and included some summer spending money. They were thrilled. 😊
*My shaggy-headed boys got hair cuts this week and look so handsome with their new do's.
*We enjoyed lots of pool time this week and are thankful everyday for a cool place to hang out and have fun WITHOUT sweating, in our own backyard!! The heat is getting real and the pool is making it all better!
*This week we took the boys to see Atlanta United play in the U.S. Open Cup at Kennesaw State. We had so much fun and loved seeing some of our favorite players up close.

*My guys doing the A-T-L clap during the game was probably my favorite. It was the best!
*We waited in a loooong line at half-time for drinks and popcorn but it was worth it. The sun went down and the 2nd half was perfect. We saw our team score again to put the game away, enjoyed our snacks, and had so much fun cheering and watching in the SHADE. #praise
*We were wiped out on the way home but loved our night watching one of our favorite teams. We're looking forward to seeing them play again at the Benz next month!
*So this happened this week at our house. Snack bags. Once it's gone for the day, it's gone. If you're still hungry you must choose something from the fridge... yogurt, cheese, carrots, fruit, etc. It worked out pretty good on Day 1 so we'll see how it goes once it becomes an every weekday thing. Gracious. I live with hungry little hippos.
*We got some new pillows for our lounge chairs this week thanks to my mom! I've had my eye on these for weeks but they sold out online so we had to track them down in 2 different stores. I love them so. 😊
*Pool time was our most favorite this week. (Except not the fighting or me having to referee or make boys take a time-out.) But other than that, it was our FAVORITE!!
*We love to swim!!
